Full Version: Just deleted Windows on accident....

The Ubuntu Netbook Edition is too much like the OS X though. :thumbsups:, Ubuntu is good though. All you actually have to do right now is just download the .iso again, and reinstall if you want Windows back (put it on another partition).
Why are you installing another operating system?

If you ever want to test an operating system use a virtual machine.

I sorta like it, but I feel like I'm missing out on stuff like ooVoo. =/
And I need to figure out where to get my cd key back..it was pre-installed on the computer.

I didn't want to test it.

I recommend http://www.wubi-installer.org its a very easy way to dual boot with Ubuntu and very safe i might add.
I used testdisk (on hirens bootcd) to recover my partitions. Just gotta get bootup workin D: bootmgr is missing. I suggest reinstalling windows though, much easier
