I like anything really, as long as it's not monkey rap.
Example of monkey rap, Soulja Boy, 50 cent, Wiz Khalfia, Lil Wayne, Eminem, etc.
Example of MEANINGFUL rap, Brother Ali, Atmosphere, POS, JMT, etc.
I'm not into the metal/electronic scene, but I'll give anything besides monkey rap a go.

I'd put in some of the songs from Solidus into Pandora (Pandora.com) and see what it recommends. I've found a ton of bands I love from just entering one band into Pandora.

They were good, but then they started rapping about material objects, and then they became just another expendable rapper.

I know you said you do not like electronic music but have you ever heard of the band LocnVille, they have decent music(Electronic) with some decent rap in some of there songs.
