Full Version: Should I take up VB?

I used VB.NET for a while, liked it then hated it. Now I've moved onto PHP and love it.
Php's syntax is ugly imo, but it's much better than VB.
It all depends on how experienced you are. If you are a novice at coding, I would definitely suggest taking up Visual Basic just because it is easy and you can make some pretty great program with it.
It's not a childish language.

Simplicity doesn't make it "childish".
Learn C# before VB.Net thats the worst mistake i made...

im now learning C# ,Java,C++, Delphi and PHP

I want to master as much programming language as i can.
wel im learning c# give that a try

I've had a look at C++, it seems way too complex for me.
