Hm.

Posting in an elder topic is quite okay if it's a popular topic such as "Rate someones signature", but posting in topics that are 7+ days old, and the original posters question has already been answered, I believe that's bumping and should be punishable by a warning of some degree.

Why would you really need to bump it. If no one posts anything that means they dont like it!

sometimes i don't really care if its an old thread because sometimes a user would keep checking to see if they got an answer the other day.

That's bad logic. Perhaps it was overlooked, or posted when not many people were on. I usually only bump my topics when they drop from the first page, though.
