Alright, whats up?
So... I've been wanting to wipe my macbook and to do that I need the install dvds. I cant find them, but I have an older version which is 10.4.8 and I'm on 10.5.8. The problem here is that apparently my macbook wount read the dvds. When I insert the CD and reboot the machine, I immediately hold C and such but after some time it reads it and then ejects it and theres a folder with a question mark that flashes once and then my computer loads up. I have used disk utility App and I've found out my HD is messed up. But it wount let me Repair the disk. The only way to repair it is with the Install DVD. Is there any other way besides using a Fire Wire?
P.S: The install dvd is legit and it is Apple. I've also tried it with 10.6.3 which is Snow Leopard.
