The ladder is leaning up against the "G" thats why there is a ladder there. To create the effect that it's not just some text and it has some object properties to it, unlike a ghost.

It is indeed really awesome. Why not u release a desktop version of it so we may put it on our desktop backgrounds.
I really like the text in this piece. You did really well giving it a grungy yet grassy feel. I really love the addition of the later on the left side. This is a superb piece. How long did it take you to make? With a little more light in the background I think it might even be a little better!
