I am going to be applying for UC's this month and this means I need to take my 2 Subject tests... fuuuu....

For just my normal SAT I got a 1750, which I find to be plenty for my needs.
I picked Math II and Chemistry as my two subjects.
The tests are this Saturday, so I have just a few days left to refresh.
Math I fell confident in, good at it and have practice.

However, Chemistry..
-I took the class sophomore year so i'm out of practice
-My teacher was horrible so I didn't learn half of the stuff we needed to

So I got a practice book and have been reading it like a bible. I'm a pretty quick learner and a lot of it is familiar but crap it's difficult.

Has anyone taken the Chem test? How was it? What was the main point?
Good luck for Saturday. I did a different examination, but with Chemistry it is as important to be familiar with the concepts as well as the more common elements and reactions.
good luck i hope it goes greatSmile
Good luck.
Just don't that thing where you blow you head of, by mixing some wrong chemicals.
Man, I took chem in 9th grade and I thought I was pretty good at it - til I saw the SAT Chem test. haha. Good luck and check out this link : http://sat.collegeboard.com/practice/sat.../chemistry
crap that was hard lol... I hope colleges don't look to deeply at these scores because I do not think I did well...

I skipped like 25 questions on each test...
goodluck i hate tests :S
Tests on saturdays? Oh man your school sucks, we haven't got to do anything like that over here near where I live.
I've taken the SATs a couple times, and yeah the chemistry test is pretty hard. Just prepare yourself and you will be fine. As someone above posted, collegeboard is a GREAT site for college prep tests.
