I have a msdn account and I can not get support.
My current subscription has to have an admin authorization to be approved for telephone support.

You mean, not so common? lol Sure. If you allowed me to teamview I could probably fix it. I'm not really sure what the issue is until I have a look at it. Have you tried re-installing the program? Or do you have any other versions of Microsoft Word that might not have been uninstalled properly before installing 2010?
I still use Office 2007, but i've dealt with enough Microsoft software to know that they are not perfect lol.

This issue only occurs in word 2010. The other software applications that come with the suite work fine.

To fix this, press Ctrl/Shift (at the same time), then A (while holding down Ctrl/Shift).
