can someone give me tips on how to fix it up,its in gimp and this is basically the first graphic ive ever done >_>;

Background looks horrible, change it.

ill change the background but im gonna post that anyway ol

the text doesn't stand out, even a simple stroke at this point would be a little better, play around with some blending options if you're planning on keeping that It's not great as Untouch said, but even bad graphics you can make appear better.

does it change at all, or is that all perception related? lol. You might have to change the quality settings or something if you think thats the issue. It doesn't give them for png though. theres lots of options if you save it as jpg though. Only interlaced options I think for png. But png is better than gif in general for transparency images. this one doesn't have any though, so you won't have problems with saving it as a gif.

There you go buddy. Try to get some flow in there while mixing colors.

The new background looks low quality and still ugly.
Don't use any background like that, completely change it into a different style.

i use this sometimes, it's easy to use and you can make pretty good banners with it.

Sorry bud but I think you really need to check out some tutorials.
