Offshore generally means Not on land. Therefor legit offshore hosting would be hosting from servers on boats or floating in the sea. lool.

I believe the current definition of offshore (commonly to be confused with bulletproof). To be a server located in a country where they can ignore DMCA (copyright) complaints.

Warez = Illegally copyrighted / crack material.

So i would safely say offshore hosting = Wont screw you for hosting warez.

I see allot of hosting "companies" (kids) Buying a server in NL That has the same ToS as a US server would: no warez, hacking, etc and slapping the title offshore on it.

So what would people agree with.

Offshore hosting =
server not in america?
Or
hosting on a server in a country "Allowing" copyrighted materials?
Most of the OffShore hosting providers are from Germayn, as they ignore DMCA.
The definition of Off Shore will be :- Hosting where you won't be banned for doing illegal things.
