Modern warfare 2 is by far my favorite.

You forgot to add call of duty black ops. Oh and my favorite game out of the "call of duty" is Modern Warfare 2

Call Of Duty 2 For The Win.I don't like new versions of CoD,they're too messy.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was an amazing game and althrough it was simpler than MW2, it was better in a lot of ways. MW2 had better graphics, new features and the gameplay felt better. But, MW2 also had way too many killstreaks, the snipers sucked (yes, including the intervention), and it didn't feel as fun as when I used to play CoD4.

If I had to play one of them now it would be MW2 but I still think CoD4 was a better game in a lot of ways. They're both fun though.

MW2 is 1 billion times better than COD4.

I never played CoD 4 so I can't say which is better.

The best call of duty is obviously number 4.

I would have to go with Call of Duty 4 since that game had simple killstreaks that weren't over powered and it was a very well balanced game.
