Well it's really worth understanding the code behind what your just doing in the design view. Try to work just from the code and then checking the design view after wards then if it's wrong correct in DV and then see the correct coding.

No problem. Don't get me wrong, DW is an amazing tool but it makes designing too easy for me
I use Dreamweaver not bad tho.
