Seems a little too busy with effects, and the render itself appears stiff. I think this will work better as a vertical sig. Brightness around the render can be reduced and some variation and shadowing would make it more 'alive.'
The lighting around the render is far to bright which sort of kills the whole feel to the piece. I agree with Eve, I think this piece would work much better as a vertical sig.
Again, nice picture about Judgment day
The BG looks rather LQ, try to clear it up a bit and burn a border around it a little thicker.

Pretty sure the background has been blurred that's why it may look LQ.
