If I wanted a forum that's as popular as these forums, what kind of hosting would I need and how much would I be spending? Can you recommend any good hosts? Thanks.

Amazingness ^^

Would that be able to run a website like SF?
The premium should be able to since it's unlimited everything.

For some reason I doubt that.
Lol, it's not just a thread, they have their own site.

I know that.

So many hosts claim that they offer "unlimited everything" but eventually you'll realize how big of a lie that is.
True, idk, I would use them.
If you don't trust them then try godaddy, hostgator, or vuze.

If you need something offshore then go with Vuze.

I can vouch for HG as I use it for a few of my projects and it gets the job done. They also have non-shared hosting if you needed more CPU resources with their VPS plan.

If you plan on having a really low traffic forum then you can probably use one of those $5 hosts as well as that should be more than enough.
