The graphics card on my computer decided to die today. I've had a brand new Dell sitting next to me for 9 months completely unused. A nice new Quad-Core Win7 system with all the bells and whistle. I've just been lazy about the transfer.
So today I guess was the day but Oh F Me it's been a real hassle every step of the way.
Getting all my programs I used installed. Changing passwords up the wazoo. And to top it off I don't like how my display is for fonts on my new system. It's the same monitors but under Win7 I'm having crap for display.
So last week my mouse dies and today my computer. Next will be my keyboard I guess forcing me to use a new Dell keyboard I have. The keys are very different and I've been reluctant to bother with it.
Today is suck.
You didn't use Windows 7 before? If not I feel like you'll like it a lot more than whatever you were using.
SNAP. Back to reality, when technology screws up it screws up bad.
I guess everyone is having a bad day today.
I just switched to Linux and most websites look ugly because of the fonts.
Been messing around with it all day.
Oh yeh my PC restarts randomly, my video card is acting up.
I think Omni's day is
Oh crap I have to use new things, this sucks!
I have win7 on another computer as well as my netbook. I'm semi-familiar with it. Most of my issues though have been customizing all my programs and this Dell. Example is that I can't use 2 seperate wallpapers on my desktop. One for each monitor. I probably wasted nearly an hour trying before I was like WTF I got to get to other stuff.
My Opera is installed but I have to redo all my passwords and bookmarks.
I've only installed about 1/10th of my programs too.
I hate having to switch anything, I have everything perfect on my computer and I know that something WILL go wrong.

Same here. Once I've set up my computer to what I think is 'perfect.' Boom system error and reformat. I really need a better PC, I have a feeling my current one will die in the near future.
